Internet Information

The internet has become a valuable tool in obtaining information about health maintenance, specific health conditions and support.

You should not, however, depend on the information you find on the internet in place of a trained and knowledgeable family practice physician.

Part of the important partnering process with your family practice physician is to keep him or her apprised of the information you've obtained on the internet. And, importantly, keep them up to date on anything that you are doing or on any food, herb or supplement that you may be taking as a result of information you've obtained on the internet.

Treating the whole person is the objective of your family practice physician and it's important that you keep him or her apprised of everything that you are doing regarding your health.
