Pediatrics is the branch of medicine dealing with the with the care of infants and children and the treatment of their diseases. LCFP physicians are trained in treating children from the moment they are born.

Many of our physicians have children of their own, so their treatment of your children comes from experience as well as training. They too, have been up through the night with earaches, upset stomachs and fevers. It is nice to know that the advice they give you is the same advice they rely on themselves.

One of the very important aspects of pediatric care is ensuring that infants and children receive recommended immunizations.

The annual recommended childhood and adolescent immunization schedule of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the American Academy of Family Physicians is issued for 2006.
